Pass through the square and enter the expansive, relaxed common area, with works of art on display. This is the gateway to contemporary art galleries and an extensive museum where you can encounter diverse creations from a variety of genres. Come to the TODA BUILDING and experience the allure of art and culture in a comfortable time and space.

OUR STORY

Our concept is “Connecting people with the city.”

We will create a new crossroads of art and business, right here in Kyobashi, where a culture of craftsmanship has been nurtured since the Edo Period and where countless art assets such as Kotto-dori—the street of antiques—continue to live and breathe today.

Connected to the city by a plaza, the building will host a variety of activities.

This is where people will encounter art that pleasantly stimulates them, triggering their creativity.

TODA BUILDING is a new hub of art and culture.

ART
Art Power Kyobashi is the collective name of the art programs developed by the Toda Corporation in the Toda Building. Here diverse artists will gathger, present their work, and find audiences, and within this system, art will be a source of meaning in people’s lives. With the aim of building such a community ecosystem through art, we will develop a variety of art programs and contribute to fostering the vibrancy and cultural value of Kyobashi.

KYOBASHI SAIKU
Developed according to the concept of creating “A Center of Art and Culture for All,” Kyobashi Saiku consists of the buildings—the Museum Tower Kyobashi (owners: the Nagasaka Corporation and the Ishibashi Foundation) and the TODA BUILDING (owner: the Toda Corporation). The lower floors of the two buildings house a museum, galleries, event halls, and more, and at the foot of the buildings is a lush open square with 120 meters of frontage facing Chuo-dori Avenue.
Enhancing local disaster prevention functions

In cooperation with neighboring city blocks, we are making use of the Urban Regeneration Special District scheme, which sets forth the goals of “creating hubs for art and culture” and “enhancing local disaster prevention functions.” As one of the most earthquake-resistant structures in the country, the TODA BUILDING will contribute to local disaster preparedness by serving as a temporary shelter facility.
